Discussed the [[NDSA:Fall_2013_Outreach_Strategic_Survey|Fall 2013 Outreach Strategic survey questions]]. Added a few, edited a few. Will put them up in SurveyMonkey, with the goal of Oct. 1 at the latest for the release of the survey. We'll put it out for 2 weeks, with the possibility of a one week extension depending on participation rates. The goal is to be done by end of October, release the results in mid-November (earlier for all things if possible).
 
Erin then discussed the schedule for promoting the National Agenda. Erin is keeping a spreadsheet of activities, but updates are also available in the [[NDSA:2014_National_Agenda_Document_Rollout_Plan|rollout section]] on the wiki. There are a number of activities happening, including an ASERL webinar and one being hosted by Duraspace.
 
A degree of activity is centered on the ALA Midwinters conference in January 2014. In addition to an NDSA presentation during the conference, the group is exploring an NDSA regional meeting in conjunction with ALA.

  • Discuss draft questions for the NDSA Outreach Strategy Survey. This survey will be sent to all NDSA members to get some guidance on future strategic directions for the NDSA Outreach group. Draft questions are below and on the wiki.
  • A rundown of upcoming Outreach events to promote the 2014 National Agenda for Digital Stewardship
