Items Needed:

  • Database/spreadsheet of identified expertise. Perhaps create a Surveymonkey, have NDSA members fill it out to help identify areas of expertise. Include contact info (organization, title, email, phone) so that we can address press queries to individuals for response.
  • Database of press contacts. Can we build a rich database of press contacts across all sectors? This includes contacts in the popular press (newspapers, national magazines, blogs) as well as contacts in more "niche" areas of particular interest to NDSA members. Can either share the database with other NDSA members or act as press office.
  • Draft press release template
  • Workflow documents
  • Press office participants (folks to write press releases on NDSA activities using the press release template)
  • Other things?
