Review stawman agenda

Barrie distributed a stawman NDSA:Agenda that is a model for a program. The times or type of item (keynote, plenary, panel name, etc) are listed to give us an idea of a an agend. The schedule is very flexible; nothing is set in stone.

Discuss panel ideas and add more

  • The Philadelphia Area Consortium of Special Collections Libraries (PACSCL) is working on a storage survey, and they may have something to report on by then.
  • eGov initiatives with a stewardship focus
  • Preservation of software, and possibly a presentation by Matthew Kirschenbaum on a national software repository
  • Session on file format action plans or data management plans
  • Preserving facebook digital memorial pages
  • Social media archiving or a researchers approach to using social media data
  • Cost of preservation
