Meeting Notes

Discussed the latest version, draft version 6, of the PDF/A report.

There was broad discussion on the form of the report, concentrating on editing the "scenarios" into narrative form and doing final editing.

Caroline will prepare a final draft by Friday Nov. 8. The group will meet again on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 1:00pm ET for a final review, with the goal of sending the draft document to the wider NDSA Standards group by Friday Nov. 15.

Actions

  • NARA will update their use cases to a narrative structure
  • Caroline will work to revise others to a narrative form
  • Caroline will prepare another draft to be delivered by Friday Nov. 8
  • Group will meet again on Tuesday Nov. 12 at 1:00pm ET.
  • The group will do final copy editing of that draft and deliver to the wider NDSA Standards group by Friday Nov. 15.
  • Once document is finalized, group will considering hosting a meeting to discuss PDF/A with the wider information management community.
