During this meeting, the Working Group:
Discussed challenges of working with content creators (aiming to come up with the top 5-10):
*how to communicate standards to creators
*drawing lines around what an organization is willing to accept from creators
*initiating contact with creators
*providing guidance to content creators on file naming, metadata
*communicating long-term value of content to creators (esp. for news, performance art)
*intersections with creators of citizen-generated content (people making videos/taking pictures of events in Ferguson, Missouri, for example)
*more?
Discussed ways we can better understand and provide support for working with creators:
*Plan presentations on models for communicating with creators
*Compile a list of available/shareable guidance for working with creators

Also discussed the possibility of hosting a presentation with the Standards WG on the Council of State Archivists PERTTS portal (Program For Electronic Records Training, Tools, and Standards; http://rc.statearchivists.org/PERTTS/Default.aspx )
Lastly, the NDSA Web Archiving Survey report will be released soon! Feedback from the CWG is requested by COB, Monday, September 8.
