OWG Storytellers Deborah Rossum, Bob Downs, Kim Shroeder and Carol Minton Morris (rec.) met on Dec. 15, 2011. The Storytellers will meet again on Jan. 19, 2012 at 3:00 pm. ET.


•The Call for stories was highlighted at the CNI Fall Membership Meeting; 12 have been added ([1]) that are primarily about institutional data loss. Rumor has it that the call for data loss stores was highly tweeted during Martha Anderson's NDSA presentation. The CFS is open and ongoing.

Action item: All, pls continue to publicize the CFS

• "Save Your Bits" Video Campaign was discussed with a focus on branding and fundraising clarifications as key requirements in being able to facilitate video production with external producers such as advertising agencies and/or video production companies.

• Kim Shroeder has secured the use of two different video production departments at universities and several students in our SLIS program at Wayne State with video production backgrounds to begin work on producing video stories based on submitted ideas.
