• CIESIN has been providing support for the continuation of the website, including content updates, maintenance, infrastructure management, and operation of the website, and for the identification of potential sources of funding.

Leveraging WG Activities

• CIESIN has been leveraging the activities of the NDSA Geospatial Content Working Group and other groups, including the FGDC Users / Historicial Data Working Group, to maintain the content of the website.

Minimize Costs

• CIESIN has minimized the operations of the website to reduce operational costs and foster efficiency.

Reviewing RFPs

• CIESIN have been actively reviewing RFPs and potential opportunities from agencies to identify sources of support for the website.
