As mentioned on previous Leadership calls, our current contract for the management of the NDSA listservs will be closed at the end of March. We’ve been investigating options for either a new contract or to bring the management of the NDSA Listservs in-house at The Library of Congress. After evaluating the options, we’ve decided to bring the NDSA listservs in-house.
The new lists will all have an LISTSERV.LOC.GOV address. For example, NDSA-ALL@LISTSERV.DIGITALPRESERVATION.GOV will become NDSA-ALL@ LISTSERV.LOC.GOV . Current subscribers of all NDSA lists on the LISTSERV.DIGITALPRESERVATION.GOV domain will be automatically subscribed to the lists at the new domain NDSA LISTSERV.LOC.GOV. Starting in March, we will be transitioning the NDSA lists from the current domain to the new one. We will start communicating the transition via the attached timeline and actions.
