Biography:
I have an MLIS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and over 22 years experience in Libraries, Archives, Records Management and Document Management. This experience has been gained working in:

Private Foundation:
George C Marshall Research Foundation on the campus of VMI University: University of Wyoming, American Heritage Center Corporations: Newmont Mining Corporation and Molson Coors Brewing Company Federal Government: on contract to the U.S. Geological Survey
State Government: State of Alaska:
I worked for 10 years as an underground miner following high school, then with the crash of the silver market in the early 1980s I decided to go to college and ended up with an undergraduate degree in History and a Masters in Library and information Studies. I came to Alaska as the State Archivist, and served in that role for 1.5 years then was promoted to my current position of Deputy Director for the Division of Libraries, Archives and Museums for the State of Alaska.

Interest in serving on the Coordinating Committee:
I have a strong desire to see this program take its members into the future in a much more coordinated and structured methodology. With the increase in digital records, both born digital and scanned images, it is necessary to create standards and processes for preserving these records. I feel that this group has enough knowledge and understanding of the issues that we can bring about change in the way digital records are preserved in the future.
