Statement of Purpose
The Outreach Working Group of the National Digital Stewardship Alliance will focus on building relationships with stakeholder communities and preparing and sharing digital preservation information resources. This includes: Identifying and assessing tools the NDSA community needs for communication; Identifying and promoting key digital preservation information resources; Defining opportunities for outreach within the NDSA and to the community beyond.
Current Scope of Work
Identifying and promoting key digital preservation information resources:
- Clearinghouse of Digital Preservation Information
- Utilizing social media tools to spread the message
Defining opportunities for outreach within the NDSA and to the community beyond:
- Public Awareness Campaign
- Digital Preservation BarCamps
- Partner Recruitment
- Identifying Important Collections for Stewardship
- Outreach to Potential Information Stewards
Meeting Schedule and Minutes
One meeting was held in 2010 to kick-off the Outreach Group and to develop the charter:
