Agenda

  1. Introductions
  2. Catch up ongoing projects
  3. Discuss agenda for next call
  4. Presentation from Max Eckard, Bentley Historical Library, University of Michigan

From Max: The Mellon-funded Archivematica-ArchivesSpace-DSpace Workflow Integration project (we're also toying with Archival Integration Project, or AIP--get it?) seeks to expedite the ingest, description, and overall curation of digital archives by facilitating the creation and reuse of descriptive and administrative metadata among Archivematica and ArchivesSpace and streamlining the deposit of fully processed content into our digital preservation repository built on DSpace. We're a little over a year into this two-year process. During our talk, we'll give a brief overview of our institutional context before discussing project goals and the progress we've made so far.
