It is my belief that the NDSA is an organization that should provide a foundational role in the digital preservation efforts across our country. I would be happy to represent the Odum Institute and the University of North Carolina by serving on the NDSA Coordinating Committee. If my insights into research data preservation, digital replication auditing and information systems would be helpful to the cause; it would be a delight to serve. Our community is rich in talents that can be brought to bear to help forge solutions to digital preservation problems that face our society. Helping to bring them together in a coordinated fashion would be a pleasure.
