Feedback (please add!)

Working Group structure

  • Discussed idea of smaller NDSA teams forming around specific topics and projects. One challenge mentioned was on how to best coordinate efforts across the organization.
  • Support was expressed for cross-working group efforts (with the Standards WG on born-digital workflows, for example)

Activities

  • Seemed to be good support for continuing case studies and Signal blog posts (Content Matters interview series)
  • Member presentations are helpful and should continue

Focus

  • Opportunity to broaden mission/rethink purpose statement
  • Continue to support communities forming around subject areas (like born-digital news), but consider how this relates to the broader working group. Format/document type may be another approach to explore further.
  • Reach out to the Dodging the Memory Hole group around born-digital news

Communication

  • More information about the meetings would help members keep up if they miss a call
  • Explore communication tools available via DLF
  • Consider opening meeting minutes to a broader community
  • Communicate more via listserv
