Project plans flesh out more details of a project. It answers the same questions as a project charter, but often in more detail. Please contribute project plan examples to the DLF Project Managers Toolkit.
Some sections of a project plan could include:
- History or description
- Justification or rationale
- Scope
- Funding source(s)
- Stakeholders list
- Technical requirements (in-house or vendor)
- Roles and responsibilities by project milestone
- Operations of managing project documentation and communication
- Timeline
