Plan A - - as proposed to the NEH

Summary: Split the workshop across two days with a social/working dinner; Unconference/Ignite on the second night Pros: better, less exhausting, more creative structure for workshops; good to have working/social dinner in the middle Cons: requires two day commitment from attendees; workshop won't get benefit of Ignite/unconference at the end

Day 1 (Tentatively December 1st)

  • Out of town guests arrive this morning or the night before
  • Optional behind-the-scenes tour of a DC collection
  • Lunch as a group
  • Workshop session 1 of 3
  • Social/working dinner

Day 2 (Tentatively December 2nd)

  • Catered breakfasty-thing
  • Workshop session 2 of 3
  • Lunch
  • Workshop session 3/3
  • Wrap up in early afternoon
  • Ignite and Unconference in late afternoon/evening
